The Pop-Rock School is one of the first projects of the Krajina Association of Musicians (KUM), started in 2007. It will be based on the development of modern music, with several candidates for each department. Its character is amateur. If the first audition results with a larger number of interested candidates, a second audition will be held so that 5 students are enrolled in each department.

The first part of the courses will last one year, after which the candidates will perform at a public class or a pop-rock concert at an attractive location, using a professional sound system. The candidates will be then able to enroll in the second level or the second year in the Pop-Rock school.

The courses in all departments will be held during 4 hours a week, or a two-classes session, according to candidates’ wishes.

Practice trainings will be held at the MONa club and at the Cultural Centre, and the theory lectures (4 hours/month) at the Music school. During one week a month, candidates will be practicing for four hours with students from other departments, instead of having individual lessons.

The monthly fee for courses at the Pop-Rock School is 3,000 dinars per student, paid in two parts. We provide complete technical support in terms of professional instruments for all students.

The age of students should be from 7 do 18.

DRUMS
The courses will be held at the MONa club or the Cultural centre. Age: 7 to 16.

BASS
Same place as drums. Age: 7 to 16.

GUITAR
MONa club, private lessons. Age: 7 to 16.

SYNTHESIZER – KEYBOARDS
Private lessons. Age: 7 to 16.

VOCAL
Music school. Age: 7 to 16.

DJ arts
Private lessons. Age: 12 to 18.

ARRANGEMENTS AND LYRICS
Private lessons. Age: 12 to 18.

CABLING, SOUND DESIGN, PRODUCTION AND MARKETING
All locations. Age: 12 to 18

DIGITAL SOUND EDITING
Radio and private lessons. Age: 12 to 18.
